Where do I pick up my name badge/credentials?
Credential pickup will occur in the Stephen F. Austin room at the Tremont House. Take a right when you enter the Tremont Lobby and you’ll find us.
Credential pickup will occur from 5-7PM on Thursday night and from 12-1:30PM on Friday morning.
Credential pickup will also occur on Saturday from 11:30AM to 12:30PM at the Playground Patio Bar.
Please bring your registration confirmation or driver's license with you.
Can I get on the Waiting List? Will you be selling day passes?
Pardi-Gras is SOLD OUT, and we will not be adding anyone else from the waiting list. We will not be selling day passes this year. Name Badges have been printed and our guest list is final.
If you are planning to be in the Galveston Bay area that weekend and want to enjoy some great music then we suggest you check out SWIM Week at T-Bone Tom’s in Kemah.
Please note that Pardi-Gras is a PRIVATE EVENT. Credentials are required for entry.
Where do I park?
Both the Tremont House and Harbour House offer valet parking.
You can also park along the street in the Strand District at a cost of $2/hour or $45 for an Annual Pass. Please visit paybyphone.com to pay or learn more.
Where should I eat?
All of our host venues serve food, but we also suggest you check out Brewchachos for Mexican Food, Mama Teresa's Flying Pizza for Pizza/Italian Food, and The Shark Shack for Seafood and more. All of these restaurants are located within a few blocks of the Tremont House.
How do I get to Flip Flops Bar on the Seawall?
We strongly encourage you to take a Uber or Cab when venturing away from the Strand District.
But if you really want to drive your own vehicle to Flip Flops, then we suggest you take Harbourside, Strand St, or Mechanic St east to 21st St. Take a right onto 21st St and take it all the way to the Seawall. Turn left onto the Seawall. At that point you’re about 14 blocks from Flip Flops.
Parking is available on the Seawall at the cost of $2/hour. Please visit paybyphone.com to learn more about parking on the Seawall.
When leaving Flip Flops you should take Seawall Blvd East until it intersects with Broadway. Turn left on Broadway and follow it to 25th St. Turn right onto 25th St, which will take you back to the Strand District.
What exactly is happening at Flip Flops on Saturday?
There will be a "beach party" outdoors, on the sand. Limited seating will be available upstairs at the restaurant, but there will also be a stage set up in the sand just below the restaurant. Only badge carrying registrants to Pardi-Gras will be allowed in this area. Food and drinks will be served during the beach party. We suggest that you bring a lawn chair if you have one available.
How far is it from the Strand District to T-Bone Tom’s in Kemah?
It is 26 miles. Depending on the time of day and traffic it could take you anywhere from 35 minutes to a full hour to drive to Kemah from Galveston.
What will the seating situation be like at T-Bone Tom’s on Sunday?
Reserved seating will be available to Pardi-Gras guests until 12:30PM on Sunday April 11. You may still get a seat after that point in time, but you will have to wait in line with the general public.
COVID/MASK Policy:
We are asking that everyone attending to please have a mask with you while at our event. We ask that you please wear it when entering or exiting our venues, and also if you are interacting with someone who is wearing a mask themselves.
Please be cooperative with this policy. We want everyone to have a great time, but please be aware that some folks are still at risk for the virus, and are depending on you for that consideration.
THANK YOU!
